Gregory A. Armstrong, 59, of Winnebago, IL passed away on February 16, 2023. Greg was born on July 15, 1963 in Manchester, Jamaica to Winston Armstrong and Phyllis Francis. He graduated from Elgin Community College (Trucking). Greg got his CDL on September 11, 1999, one of his greatest achievements. He came to have the American Dream, owning his own successful trucking company. Greg was the greatest husband, dad, papa, brother and friend you could ever ask for. Greg loved cars and attending car shows. Greg lived life his way and lived life to the fullest, UNFILTERED!
Greg is survived by his life long partner, Becky Armstrong; children, Anthony Armstrong, Jeremey Unger, Jennifer Wagner, Joshua Unger and Justin Unger; grandchildren, Asir Armstrong, Samantha, Tyler, Daisy, Heidi, Kylie, Annabel, Chloe, Sebastian, Lily, Jaxson, Brady Gregory, Olivia, Judith,Thomas, Alex, Harmony and Haley; siblings, Christine, Sharon, Beverly, Betty, Ricky, Pamela, Wayne, Carla, Arifa, Ian, and Carlos; many nieces and nephews; dear friend, Catherine Bobo; an abundance of more friends and the entire Johnson family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis; father, Winston; mother, Clara; son/ grandson, Joseph Rice; brother, Junior; uncle, Rudy; nephew, Reece.
