Carrie Lynn Brannon, age 30, of Loves Park, Illinois passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023. Carrie was born in Rockford, Illinois on July 8, 1992 to James and Kristin Brannon. Carrie loved spending time with friends, rescuing animals, writing books, and fellowship with her church families. She was especially close to and proud of her siblings, nieces and nephews. She loved spending time with her family. Anyone who knew Carrie knew how kind and loving she was. She never shied away from an opportunity to help a friend or care for someone, she was always there for anyone who needed her. Carrie's love, silliness, and kindness will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.
Carrie is survived by her parents, James Brannon and Kristin (Greg Gould) Brannon; siblings, Jennifer (Hayden) Pehl, Jimmy Brannon, and Thompson Brannon; grandparents, Richard Rheinschmidt, James and Shirley Brannon; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a special person in her heart, Oliver Thomas. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Elaine Rheinschmidt and Carolyn Brannon.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to PAWS of Rockford.
