Perry C. Edwards, 89, of South Heights, peacefully passed away Saturday September 28th at Heritage Valley Beaver. Perry was born March 20, 1935, a son to Alvin (Buck) and Edna Edwards.
Prior to retirement, Perry was employed by J&L Steel and Hussy Copper. Perry proudly served in the Marines during the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Elizabeth Edwards; sisters, Evelyn Crissman, Martha J. Johns, Gladys John; brother Samuel Edwards; daughters Tanya Macdonald (John) and Barbara Minor (William Fred); son Timothy Edwards (Ramona); 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Perry was preceded in death by his sisters Irene Shankle and Carol Gurley, brothers Darrel and Jim Edwards.
As per Perry's request services are private and have been entrusted to the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home 273 Rt 68 Rochester, PA 15074. He will be laid to rest at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
