Lillian Anna Hogue, 83, of New Sewickley Township, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018. She was born July 5, 1934 in Mechanicsburg, OH, daughter of the late Andrew and LaVada (Ambler) Gross. Lillian was a graduate of Ambridge High School, Class of 1952.
She was an avid sports fan of the Pirates and Steelers. Lillian enjoyed her close friendships with the ladies at the beauty shop. In her leisure, liked to solve word search puzzles and watch TV game shows. Family was most important to her. She was a member of St. Felix Catholic Church, Freedom.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John; her daughters: Virginia Selby and Mary Joan Faller; and her granddaughter: Jessica Faller.
Lillian is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Andrea Comeau, New Sewickley Township; Deborah (William) Hatt, New Sewickley Township; four grandchildren: Jacob (Samantha Landsman) Faller, Jonathan (fiancée Kaitlyn) Selby, Maria (Daniel) Meyer, Joshua Johnston; her great grandson: Nolan Faller; one brother: William Belack, Boston, MA
Friends will be received on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum).
