Judith May (Dimond) Campbell of Economy Borough passed away on Thursday February 24, 2022 at Providence Care Center. Born March 9, 1940 in Bellevue. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Julia (Neely) Dimond.
Judy loved roller skating, that is where she met her late husband William at the age of 15.
Her house was the place where the neighborhood kids would always gather, whether to be painting ceramic frogs, playing kickball, or eating sugar and butter bread that she made.
Judy ran a ceramic shop in her home for years. She was involved in the Big Knob Fair with her craft booth and the four H Rabbit Club. Active member of the St.John's Lutheran Church and quilting club. Participated in Santa Shops in the Ambridge schools. She loved music and playing the organ and she passed that passion onto her daughter.
Family, embroidery, quilting and her Chihuahua puppies were her passion in life. Her treasured handmade quilts will remind us that she is forever with us in our hearts.
She is survived by three sons and wives; William P. Campbell, Jr and wife Denise; Donald F. Campbell and wife Gail; Brian P. Campbell and wife Nicole and one daughter Julianna May Zorich and husband Robert.
Surviving four grandchildren; Katie Creese (Clay); Chris Campbell; Mia Campbell; Daniel Campbell; and Chad and Cory Mueller who she thought of as her grandchildren also; Five great grandchildren; Priscilla and Scarlett Creese; Theona Zorich; Jaycee and Chloe Kalcevic.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years William P. Campbell; grandson Michael Zorich; and two brothers Clarence and Robert Dimond.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 4 to 7 at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home Inc. 273 Route 68, Rochester; www.saul-gabauer.com Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Steele officiated. The family would like to extend a special Thank you to the staff on the third floor at Providence Care Center for their tremendous care and support.
