Donna J. Yeager

Donna J. Yeager, age 94, of Rochester, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Donna was born December 9, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Lloyd) Wilson. Donna retired from Rochester School District, where she worked in the custodial department, after over 10 years or service. She was a volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels, as well as various other organizations, she was a former Girl Scout leader, and she was very active in Faith Community United Methodist Church, in Rochester.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Gilbert Yeager in 2001; one daughter; LuAnn Yeager Shafer in 2005; one sister; Dolores Wilson Taylor; one brother; William Wilson, as well as numerous other relatives and close friends.

She is survived by one son; Frederick (Marian) Yeager; one daughter; April (James) Yeager Merryman; seven grandchildren; Jeremy (Cheri) and Eric (Jamie) Merryman; Nicole (Fred) Ashbaugh, Amy Yeager, and Aaron (Amy), Brandon (Raelene) and Clinton (Julie) Shafer, as well as sixteen great grandchildren; Marie, Ava, Riley, Logan, Brock, Aubree, Sutton, Jacob, Sara, Ashden, Grayson, Adelie, Aiden, Anna Lynn, Cyrus and Kennedy.

Friends will be received on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 2-6 pm at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Funeral Services will take place on Monday, September 12, 2022, 11:00 am at the Faith Community United Methodist Church, everyone please meet at the church.
