Monica grew up in Plymouth, MN but moved to Tuxedo, NY, where she raised her children with her loving husband, Scott. Eventually, she and Scott settled in the Rochester area, where she lived for nearly two decades surrounded by her family. Monica was also a successful business owner and a talented cook.
Monica will be remembered as a loving wife, a smiling sister, a caring mother, a doting grandmother, and a wonderful person. She brought joy and fun to all whose lives she touched and will be deeply missed.
Monica is survived by her husband, Scott, her sister, Julie Hagedorn, her brothers, Phillip, John, and Peter, her three children, Margaret (Joshua) Gardner, Erin (Steven) Rybinski, and David, and her grandchildren, Luke, William, and Emma Gardner, and Eleanor and Wesley Rybinski.
Calling hours for Monica will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Alvah Halloran & Son Funeral Home, 2125 Chili Ave, Rochester, New York 14624, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM.
