David E. Richardson of Ogden, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2018, at the age of 83. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Dorothy Richardson; brother, Charles “Deed” Richardson, sister-in-law Kathy Richardson.
Dave is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jane (Statt) Richardson; loving children, Edward (Barb) Richardson, Kathy (Ross) Mazzola, Mark (Amy) Richardson and Teresa (Jeff) Jerabek; cherished grandchildren Justin (Katelyn) Richardson, Tylor Richardson, Ethan Richardson, Christina (Christopher Pels) Mazzola-Pels, Elaina Mazzola, Michael Mazzola, Nicholas Richardson, Patrick Richardson and Samantha Jerabek; one great grandchild Francesca Mazzola-Pels; loving brothers Jim (Donna) Richardson, Ron (Don Wallenhorst) Richardson, Ken (Sue) Richardson, John (Lynn) Richardson, Tom (Lynn) Richardson, loving sister Mary (Rick Mundrick) Capuano, loving sister-in-law Nancy Richardson, and several nieces and nephews.
Dave was born in 1934 and was the oldest of eight children. He was a 1952 graduate of John Marshall High School, a United States Army Veteran (1955-1957), and a 1991 retiree from Kodak. Dave enjoyed sharing his deep passion for farming with others and hunting with his family.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, January 5, 2018, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at the Funeral Home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave., Gates. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00AM at Holy Ghost Church, 250 Coldwater Rd., Gates. Interment with Military Honors to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
