Darlene Louise Sims passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Darlene was born November 7, 1924 in Chicago, IL to Valentine and Hilga Smalter. She lived with her son and daughter-in-law in Macedon, NY since Febraury 2020.
Darlene is survived by her son, Matthew and his wife, Janet; her daughter, Virgilene of New Symrna Beach, FL; her granddaughters Elise and Lauren; and 2 great-grandsons, Matthew and Eddie.
Darlene has been lovingly cared for by very special people. The family would like to thank Marlene Conti, Claire Parker, Sally Reaves, Mary and Lifetime Care Hospice. You all made the journey easier.
Friends may call Wednesday, 4-6pm at the funeral home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave., where a funeral service will follow at 6pm. Interment will be Thursday, 11am in Macedon Cemetery.
