Ronald C. Paradoski, age 82, of Rochester, died September 6, 2018 at his residence. Ronald was born on June 4, 1936 in Detroit, MI, son of the late Casmir & Frances Paradoski. He is survived by his wife Rosemary; children Ronald Paradoski, Jr, Roseann (the late Lary) Blahnik, Lynmarie (Timothy) Kmiec; grandchildren Taylor Paradoski, Isabelle Paradoski, Ava Paradoski, Kristyn Blahnik, Matthew Blahnik, Emily Kmiec, Michael Kmiec, Jonathan Kmiec; great grandchild Brayden Blahnik; siblings Jerry (Judy) Pradoski, Diane (the late David) Malinowski, Dennis (Mary) Paradoski, the late Judy Bahorski, Robert (Mary Ellen) Paradoski and Sandy Paradoski. Ronald graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 1954. He joined the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He retired as Vice President of Sales for Coca Cola Distribution in Detroit. He later worked as a Sales Consultant for Stroh’s Ice Cream and was a board member with the Associated Food Dealers. Ronald was very athletic and had been invited to try out for the Cincinnati Reds. He was a longtime Detroit Lions season ticket holder and had a passion for playing golf. Funeral service will be held 12 noon Monday, September 10, 2018, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood Ave. in Rochester. Ronald will lie in state at the church at 11:30 a.m. The family will also receive friends Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive in Rochester. A rosary service will be held Sunday evening at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Capuchin House in Detroit, www.thecapuchins.org.
