He was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 12, 1954 to Raoul and Therese Paquette. Paul graduated from Finney High School and later went on to receive a pipefitting certification. He was married to Lenora Paquette on October 10, 1998.
Paul had a career as a pipefitter for The Budd Company in Detroit for over 30 years and was the elected Union Steward for his division.
Paul was loved and respected by all who knew him, that's the kind of man he was. He loved his family and friends and was always there for anyone who needed him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Raoul and Therese Paquette, his son Pauley Paquette, and his sister Vivian Marentette.
He was survived by a loving blended family in Michigan and North Carolina. Along with his wife Lenora, he is survived by his children Christine (Neal) Doddy, Matthew Paquette, Crystal (Gary) Mui, Brandy (Scott) Spicer, Tyler White, and Brittany Hunter; grandchildren Sean and Joe Doddy, Mikey (Allison) Blackmon, Ivy Garcia, Christian, Jazmine (Karl), and Ashley Mui, and Carson Hunter; and sisters Loraine (Frank) Traver and Colette Paquette.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Paul’s memory.
