Michael (Mike) Raymond Moeller, 69, of Auburn Hills passed away April 23, 2021 after a long struggle with heart complications. During his recent health issues, he remained in good spirits and worked hard to regain his strength to be able to come home, which his family was proud of. In his final days he smiled, told a few jokes and laughed giving his grandson fists bumps. Mike was loved and will be very missed by his family.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 7, 1951. Mike was a graduate of Rochester High School and went on to earn his degree from Wayne State University in Business and then a master’s degree in Tax Preparation from Walsh College. Mike worked in the field of tax preparation for most of his career and for the past 20 years owned and operated his own businesses in Oakland county. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and enjoyed playing shuffleboard and hanging out at the local Lodge.
He was a loving father to Melissa Koryabina (Nick Koryabin), Elizabeth Findlay (Brian Findlay, preceded in death) and Michael B. Moeller (Ashley Moeller). He also adored his grandchildren Holden and Harper Findlay, and Elliot Koryabina. He is survived by his brother Ronald Moeller (Bunny Moeller), his sister Sherry Lintz (Pete Lintz), and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mike enjoyed spending time with his family playing games, loved a good prime rib and playing pool. When Mike was younger, he enjoyed playing sports, coaching his children’s teams as they grew up and watching in his later years. Mike was a quiet kind of guy but loved to be around friends and family, his presence will be sorely missed.
