Mabel Jean Hill

She was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 16, 1933. Mabel graduated from North Eastern High School and attended courses at Wayne State University.

She is preceded in death by her mother Helena M. Collins, her niece Sherry Lynn Fields, and her late husbands Francis "Jimmy" Malczewski and James Hill.

Mabel had a career in administrative management for Detroit Edison. She had a passion for her cats, her family, landscaping, gardening, architecture, interior design, foreign films, and classical music.

She is survived by sister Marsha (Wayne) Fields (formerly Wiczko), niece Teresa Fields, nephew Wayne (Laurie) Fields, great nephew Tyler (Kyle) Fields, great niece Shelby (William) Becker, and great-great niece and nephew Eleanor and Otis Fields.

A visitation for Mabel will be held on Friday July 7, 2023 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester, Michigan.
