Gayle will be remembered for her fierce love of family. Family always came first. Her husband, her 4 kids and their spouses, as well as her 7 grandchildren filled Gayle’s life with pure joy. She had exquisite style and sure loved her fashion. Gayle made and had friends everywhere. She was extremely loving and empathetic to everyone’s life situation, you instantly felt like she was family upon meeting her. Holidays, especially Christmas, were so special and treasured family time. She even had a magical way of transforming the house into a mini Bronner’s! Gayle was a fighter and showed incredible strength miraculously surviving her bone marrow transplant twelve years ago. Despite numerous challenges over the past twelve years, she never once complained.
Gayle’s warrior spirit and love for life is etched in our hearts forever. She was happy to be alive and always had a huge smile on her face. Her beautiful light will live on through “scratchy backies”, holiday treat bags, birthday video serenades, marathon shopping trips and peaceful naps feeling the warmth from the fireplace. She will be forever loved to the moon and back.
Gayle is survived by her husband Rick Jr. of 49 years, her four children, Rick III (daughter-in-law Sarah and grandkids Ryker & Maddie ), Missy (Garett Carr), Nicole (son-in-law James Hayes and grandkids Harrison, Graham and Thea Hayes) and Robert (daughter-in-law Cecilia and grandkids Lucia and Adrian), brothers Gary, Ed, Al and Jimmy, and preceded in death by her mothers Bette Strempel and Helen Strempel and father Milton Strempel and her many beloved friends.
