Diane Marie Vaughn

Diane Marie Vaughn, 79, of Lake Orion, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 4, 2017. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 13, 1937. Diane graduated from Denby High School and received her high school diploma in 1954. She was married to Donald Raymond Vaughn on January 30, 1960. Diane worked as a school bus driver for Utica Community Schools and retired in 1997. She had a passion for her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Shelly (Rick) Brotherton of Paris, Michigan; Renee (Wally) Ludeke of Lake Orion, Michigan; Denise Spano of Shelby Township, Michigan; son Daryl (Stojna) Vaughn of Lapeer, Michigan and step-son Donald Robbins of Roseville, Michigan; grandchildren Laura (Adam) Bozeman, Lisa (David) Newsome, Ashley Vaughn, Shelby Ludeke, Nicholas Spano, Stacie Vaughn, Melissa Vaughn and Angelica Vaughn; great-grandchildren Nathan, Bella, Lacey, Kara, Emma, Nicholas Jr and Anastasia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Donald Vaughn in 2011, and her dear Mother Margarete in 2000. A chapel service will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017 11am at Cadillac Memorial Gardens Cemetery East located at 38425 Garfield Rd, Clinton Twp., MI 48038.
