Christine Francis Carlson

Christine was born to Alan and Francis Carlson, on August 8, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois. Christine attended Seaholm High School and went on to Western Michigan University for her undergraduate degree, and then the University of Michigan, where she obtained her master's degree in social work. Christine was employed as a social worker for many years and cared deeply for the children she looked after.

Christine had a passion for crocheting, mahjong, and golf. She was also a long time parishioner at the Church of Birmingham.

Christine is survived by her loving children; Matthew (Cassie) Murvay, Michele Murvay, and Margo (Chris) Stone, as well as her grandchildren Milan Murvay and Beck Murvay and brother Eric Carlson.

A visitation for Christine will be held on Saturday April 12, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm, at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 W. University Drive, Rochester, Michigan.

Christine will be laid to rest at White Chapel Cemetery, located in Troy, Michigan.
