Carol Heim Northey

Carol (Heim) Northey, (formerly Carol H. Gosch) a resident of Masonic Village of Elizabethtown, PA, and formerly of DuBois, PA, was born in Reading, PA on July 28, 1936. Her parents were J. George Heim and Marian (Randall) Heim. She had one brother, George (Randy) Heim, who predeceased her. Carol was married to William (Bill) Albert Northey who is also deceased.

Carol graduated from Reading High School in 1954. She retired from Verizon.

She played golf most of her life, holding 26 club championships. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid duplicate Bridge player.

Two children survive Carol, David H. Gosch of DuBois, PA, and Kristen (Gary) Dunn of Penfield, PA. Also surviving are three stepchildren, William (Sue) Northey of Etters, PA, Susan (Ron) Emery of Chesterfield, MI, and Carol (Drew) Waltenbaugh of Rochester Hills, MI. There are seven grandchildren: Tyler, Emily, Josef, Morgan, Janna, McKenna, and Ben; two great grandchildren: Charley and Andrew.

Carol and Bill enjoyed their retirement years traveling and living at the Masonic Village. They cherished their families and many good friends.
