It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved matriarch, Maria Concepcion Villarreal at the age of 83.
Maria was born on May 28,1941 in Robstown, Texas, to Federico Cueva and Trinidad Avila Cueva.
Maria was more than a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a great great grandmother, she was the heartbeat of our family. She will be missed by everyone that knows her. Her daily prayers and guidance strengthened not only her family but her friends and her Facebook followers.
Maria’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, as they were her most cherished treasures. Maria’s love, wisdom, and boundless generosity left an indelible mark on everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
She was a hard worker, with many skill sets. Her longtime profession was preparing taxes and Notary for her long list of customers.
Maria now walks among the angels in heaven, as she is reunited with her beloved parents; Federico and Trinidad Cueva; her brothers, Federico A. Cueva Jr., Juan A. Cueva, Daniel A. Cueva, Roberto A. Cueva, Arturo A. Cueva, Joseph Cueva and sister, Antonia A. Puente. Though their loss left a void in her heart, we take solace in knowing they are together once more in Heaven.
Maria leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion carried forward by her children, Ricardo Silva, Jr. (Denise Martinez Silva), Vilma Gonzalez (Raul Gonzalez), Mary Ann Paloma Espino (Clemente Paloma Espino), Mary Lou Silva, Eduardo Silva (Eva Linda Silva), Gerardo Silva (Jennifer Silva) and Kimberly Ann Silva (Hilario Leal); 30 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Teresa Villarreal, Estella Hall, Rene Cueva, Bertha Martinez, Irma Puentes, Minerva Cueva, Adelmira Lozano, Felix Cueva, and Terrie Ann Cueva.
Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in her legacy filled with love, laughter, and unyielding faith. Maria’s memory will forever be a source of strength and inspiration for those who had the privilege of knowing her.
To honor Maria’s extraordinary life, her family invites you to join them in celebrating her memory, as a visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 9:00 AM at New Life at The Cross, 4176 FM County Road 1694, Robstown, Texas 78380.
