Josephine B Moore

Mrs. Josephine Moore was born in Martin County on December 14, 1935 to her parents John Asa Bland and Chrissie Irene Lilly both of whom preceded her in death. She married her soulmate, Jamie Dalton Moore in 1952. She was a hardworking housewife. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to all of her family. She was known by her family as “Granny”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Moore, a brother, Sammy Bland, and a sister, Doll Bland.

She is survived by her sister Shirley Bland of Virginia; her five children, Johnny Moore and wife Sarah, Jimmie Moore, Jamie Moore and wife Stacy, Judy Moore and Janice Moore.

She was loved dearly by her ten grandchildren; Joseph Moore and wife, Stephanie, Jimmie Moore, Daniel Moore, Brandon Moore, Kimberly Moore, Ashley Moore, Allen Campbell and wife Lisa, Jamie Moore, J.T. Moore and wife Valerie and T.J. Campbell.

She loved her seven great- grandchildren; Katie Grace Moore, Jamie Dean Moore, T.J. Campbell, Jessica Campbell, Jennifer Campbell, Johnathan Moore and Elaina Lloyd.

Family was very important to “Granny”, but she had a love for animals like no other. She leaves behind, Tiny, Sandy, and Red.
