NICOLAS GOMEZ BARRIOS Age 41, resident of Riverside, CA for 2 years, formerly of Apple Valley, passed away 10/31/2010. Nicolas was born 7/26/1969 in Colonia Vicente Guerrero Baja, California. He was employed by the Riverside City Fire Dept. for 12 years. He completed the Crafton Hills Paramedic Program and was a member of California State Firefighters Association. Nicolas is survived by his daughter, Adrianna Barrios of Riverside; son, Nicolas Barrios of Orange; parents, Hilario Barrios Ramirez and Maria Guadalupe Gomez Barrios, both of Apple Valley; brothers, Miguel Barrios of Riverside and Hilario Barrios of Apple Valley; sister, Iris Santos; grandparent, Elijio Gomez of San Quintin, Baja, California. Visitation 11/09/10 from 5-8pm at Acheson & Graham Mortuary. Mass on 11/10/10, 10am at St. Francis de Sales and interment at Olivewood Memorial Park with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to National Center for Victims of Crime. He was a wonderful father, son, and friend to many.
