Mom, it’s been a year since God called you home.

I realized today that I’ve been quite angry since your death. Someone told me that anger is a part of  moaning a loved ones death. 

I couldn’t bring myself to visit your gravesite. To me that act would have celebrating your death which wasn’t a reason for celebration!
You were the QUEEN of the ENTIRE family and will always be my QUEEN until I die.

I miss you more than words could ever express and I long for your hug, kiss, and the warmth of your love.  I pray for your spirits of visits in my life. 

You will forever be loved and missed dearly. Rest in Heavenly Peace Mom you are so deserving of that kind of Peace❤️

Its been a year.  Do I miss my mom YES, Do I sadly miss her? Sometimes.  Do I happily miss her all the time. YES The best thing about LOVE is whether a person is here or gone.  LOVE stays strong and is always definite and forever.  A tear in my eye, and a smile on my face.  I love you MOM!

Thank you so very much for your kind words regarding my Mom and ourFamily.

Your expression and description was on point. I keep my Mother’s spirit alive, a day doesn’t go by unless I speak action to her.

When my mom was in an extended care facility we would always go for a walk if the weather was conducive. Mom was in a wheelchair and it hurt so much as she could walk circles around me. Mom would always look for coins on the ground. Well this was a particular beautiful day for our walk. All of a sudden my mom took her foot off of the wheelchair and was attempting to stop the wheelchair. I came to face her to ask what was wrong, she pointed to the ground there was a penny. I smile and said “”Mom you’re still at it, I love it, now find us some real money “. I’ll never forget how hard she laughed. 

After she passed I began to find coins on the ground I’d pick it up and look to heaven and smile.  Grieving has been difficult some days or moments better than others.

I give my condolences for loss of your “Evelyn Clark”. May God continue to Bless you and your family.

Mardest Evelyn Clark’s Daughter

Hello. I was  searching for the obituary of a different Evelyn Clark, and by happenstance noticed your mom's.

First,  I was struck by her beauty, that name, "Mardest", and the fact my dad, born in 1930 and my mother 1932, with Ms. Mardest right there in the middle.

I looked at every single photograph you all shared. I could just about guess who each of you were to her, daughter, son, siblings, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

What stood out from the first picture shared to the last shot of her hands, is her love of God, and the pure pride and the undying love she had in her heart for each of you.

I live in Texas, and Ms. Mardest was all the way in California, but instinctively I felt familiarity as though I'd known her all my life.

Yes, I could easily recognize how you all fussing over her got on her last nerve at times, but at the end of the day, she absolutely loved that you did. She knew she was loved without any doubt. As odd as this my sound, but on behalf of her, I thank you for that.

Mildred, on her first heavenly birthday, you mentioned not a day goes by without you thinking of her. How true that will be. My mom passed away almost 12 years ago, I can honestly say not a day has gone by without thinking of her. I mostly think of things that make me smile, or laugh even.

Your mother spent almost 90 years here. You all were given the blessing of her all of your lives, as I was mine.  So I can tell you had see spent 200 years with you, it would have been too soon.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful mother with us.

 graduated From high school 1978.   My Auntie Mardest Made My Prom Dress It  was A Pink And very Beautiful  I had picked a old fashion  Long Dress  every one had those ugly wide dresses  like cinderella The Next year she made My Best friend cynthia and a couple of other Girls Dresses for our Libra scorpio Birthday club for a couple of years But last I was turning 30. She made me a pink sequence short  short sexy Dress Love you Auntie .......... I'm going to Ask GOD CAN YOU MAKE ME ONE UP
