Kurt "Smiley" Radon Anderson

"Smiley" was born May 2, 1940. to Helge and Agnes "Bobbie" Anderson (Wilson) in Los Angeles, CA, his family moved to Riverside, CA in 1945, where Kurt spent most of his life and worked as a Produce Clerk. Upon his retirement he also worked as a driver. Kurt loved to camp, travel and boat. He made friends wherever he went. He loved car racing of any kind and belonged to the Riverside International Raceway Booster Club, until the raceway was shutdown in 1989.

He was married to Judy Anderson (Paschall) from 1962 - 1984 and Maria Albesa Anderson (Sanchez Gonzalez) from 1993 - 2007. Kurt is preceded in passing by his parents; brother, Erik Anderson. Survived by his son, Mark Anderson and wife, Charlene Anderson (Dodd); his daughter and caretaker, Christina Anderson and her husband, Victor; grandchildren, Torrance Anderson and wife, Cassandra (Gideon), Nathan Anderson and fiance, Amanda Miller, Nichole Anderson, Lexie Rae Maley (Poole) and husband, Tom Maley, Todd Anderson and Emily Anderson; great grandchildren, Maverick Anderson, Psalm Anderson and Brysen Maley; nieces and nephews, Erin Anderson, Erika Anderson and Eric Anderson.

A Funeral Service for "Smiley" will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505, with burial to follow at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in "Smiley's" memory may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
