Juana aka Lita, was born in Ixtacala,Tlalnepantla, Mexico. She had four brothers and one sister (all deceased) she came from humble beginnings but the family persevered and moved to Ensenada, Mexico and then ended in Tijuana, Mexico. She came to the United States in 1962. She had 3 children Apolonia, Enriqueta (both deceased) and is survived by her youngest daughter Rosario, (Jeff).
She is a widow she was married to Manuel Carreon.
She has 10 Grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren, which she helped raise with lots of love.
She worked hard during her long and full life. She loved to work in her garden and in the gardens and yards of her family members, she had a green thumb that could make any plant or tree grow. She loved to travel and went to places she never thought she would see like the Caribbean, Alaska, Yellowstone National Park, Arches National Park and many many more, she was so scared and excited when she traveled by plane for her first time but she loved it.
She loved to cook and Sunday family dinners were a must at Litas house. Her fried chicken, Arron con leche, sopita, tacos, frijoles, arroz, tamales, homemade flour tortillas, were the best. Later in life she enjoyed to go out and eat and let others do the cooking. She was a devoted Catholic and encouraged all her family to go to church wherever you would like to worship. She made many friends in her years here on earth and she was loved by so many family and friends.
Lita will be so dearly missed by her family and friends, but she will always be in our hearts ♥️
