Emma Enedina Lucio, age 92, passed away April 7, 2024. Emma was born Emma Enedina Espinosa on August 18, 1931 in Winchester, CA. Her family owned a small farm and her father was a truck driver. Emma and her family moved to Riverside in 1946 where she attended Poly High School.
Emma developed a love for dance and would always say she would rather dance than eat. She would often go to the dances at March Air Force Base with her sisters. At one of those dances, she met the love of her life Conrado Lucio. She married Conrado in 1954 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine in Riverside, CA.
Emma accompanied Conrado all over the world as he served in the United States Air Force for 22 years. Emma and Conrado were married 63 years.
Emma was a talented seamstress. She was commissioned by many individuals and groups to design, develop and tailor clothing and uniforms.
Above all, Emma was a woman of faith and an amazing, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Emma is predeceased by her parents Rafaela and Bulmaro, her husband Conrado, siblings Robert, Alice, Rachel, Juliette and Edward, and grandson Danny.
Emma is survived by her children David and Linda, her sister Ernestine, daughter in law Candy, son in law Joe, 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Emma will be held Monday, April 29, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, 2858 9th St, Riverside, CA 92507. A committal service will occur Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
