You and my mom were lifelong friends.  My Mom and you had a great conversation on Mother's Day. Your closing comment was " I don't want to get a bad call from Florida" She answered with " I don't  to get a bad call from California"  I made that bad call to you in May. Karen made the bad call to me in December.  I'll always remember all the fun we all had in Las Vegas with Jocko and my Dad. You continued to call me after my Mom died and I will miss your calls.

Sincere condolences Karen and family.  Thank you for making your mother a member of our neighborhood when she spent time at your home. I enjoyed the times we spoke about her life, and how much you fussed over her.  She was so loved and will be missed.  May all the memories you created bring you comfort and peace.  

My grandma was my favorite person in the world. She brought me so much comfort and peace. She was the rock of our family, always supporting and sticking up for everyone. A true peacemaker. She had the biggest heart and was so sentimental, she taught me to save every greeting card and to romanticize phone calls and letters. Everything to her was so sentimental.

I miss our phone calls, and visiting her at her house. She would always tell me stories about her life, I loved hearing them. I loved hearing her talk about her experiences and how she viewed the world, everything to her was beautiful and sweet. She always said “Nicole you’re my only grand daughter. We have a special bond”, and I truly can’t describe the bond we shared. We were connected. We had the same sweet tooth and love for chocolate, we loved romance and old cinema, we both loved music, and little animals and babies. To me she was the best person in the world. If my grandma was in the room, you would find me sitting right next to her. I never wanted to leave her side. 

I think about her everyday and miss hearing her voice. She was such a special human, one of the best people I’ve ever known. I saw the impact she had on everyone she spoke to, everyone looked to her for comfort and guidance, she was special. A true blue gal. I love you forever grandma, our love has no beginning and our love has no end. Forever and ever. Rest in peace 🤍

My beautiful Aunt Mia, our hearts are beyond broken.  None of us expected you to leave us so suddenly;  we were not ready, but really would we ever be?  I never got to say goodbye and I had so hoped we would see you for your upcoming birthday because sadly too much time passed since I last saw you.  I do not have a favorite aunt because I love all my aunts equally, just differently.  I had a very special relationship with you, but so did everyone who loved you.  I could tell you anything and from the time I was a little girl, I adored you!  I  loved staying overnight at my Aunt Mia's when we would come to visit from Buffalo every summer. You'd often have my favorite chocolate Italian wedding cookies; your cooking was out of this world.  I remember so many wonderful huge family dinners at your house.  And then you and I would get comfy on the couch in your cozy living room  watching all kinds of movies, etc.  One of  your favorite sayings was "It's no  biggie!".  You just had such a calming presence.  Oh how I balled my eyes out each and every  time we had to say our goodbyes.  There have been just too many goodbyes in our family over the years, and sadly our family is dwindling.  You will be forever in my heart, and I will carry all the many wonderful memories of  you  always.  I hope you will be watching over all of us, especially me.  I love you so very much.

Mom I miss you so very much that I can’t even find the words . My days are lonely not being able to talk with you. We were glued at the hip and you were my best friend, my cheerleader and the kindest most generous mother that anyone could ever have. I’m so thankful though that you left this earth without any suffering.  God called you home suddenly because He knew how much you missed your one true love .  Your mind was sharp, you still cooked for yourself and took care of your home and you were a political enthusiast to the very end. You were the glue that held our family together.   My life is changed forever and I’m not sure how to navigate without you.  Please be our guardian Angel now and guide us from Heaven just as you did while you were here on earth.  I love you forever and ever and will continue to trust in Jesus🙏💔

Aunt Mia will forever be remembered as a shining light in the lives of those who knew her. Her kind and gentle spirit, coupled with her ability to always see the good in every situation, made her a true peacemaker and a cherished friend to all. Her presence brought warmth and comfort, and she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and may she rest in peace.

My friendship with Emelia started 20 years ago when she came to Kaiser Pharmacy to have her prescriptions filled.  She was very friendly and pleasant.  Her last name looked familiar because I had a neighbor with the same last name.  I found out that it was her son Mike.  She also mentioned she had a daughter who worked in Urgent Care.  Months later she came back to the pharmacy again and had her wonderful daughter Karen with her.  She introduced me to her and I was thrilled to meet her other children since I already knew her other sons.  Since then I became friends with her too.

Ever since our first meeting with Emelia, she came to the pharmacy more often to have her meds refilled.  We  talked and  were always glad to see each other.  I put her prescriptions on STAT because I didn't want her to wait too long.  She talked about her family every time she came.  She said how fortunate she was that she has four wonderful loving children.  She adored, idolized and loved them so much.  These were the exact words she said every time she came.  

After I retired from Kaiser, we had several get togethers at Karen's house with Mike, his wife, and of course Emelia.  Karen always made a delicious meal,  me and my husband brought couple of her favorite pies from Marie Callender's.  Her #1 favorite was the Lemon Cheesecake pie.  As always, we had a great time being together and happy to see her. 

Emelia was an amazing, incredible and kind hearted woman who touched many hearts.  She will be missed by so many.
I will always treasure and cherished our friendship and the memories we had.  She will forever be in my heart!
I will love and miss her dearly, Rest in Peace my ever dearest friend.

To her children:  Just remember,  "She adored, idolized and loved you all unconditionally"

I had an extra special bond with Carm & you through our frequent phone conversations. I miss those calls tremendously. I learned so much about our family history. We’d chat about the present & past; your  stories how you met the Love of your life - Jock. I love those stories & will always cherish them. You & Jock are finally starting a new eternal life together that you so desired. Sissy Mia we have beautiful memories & photos of the times our family spent together. We were blessed  to have you as our big sister. I love & miss you so much, my heart is shattered. May you Rest In Peace for all eternity.

     "Patti" was such a special and dear friend.  So loving, tender, caring and always giving.  I will miss our enjoyable times together talking about family, times past and present.  She had such a great memory and interestingly told of times in her early years.  She cherished her family as they did her.
     She loved to cook, especially when it was for family.  She shared her special homemade tomato sauce with my husband and me.  She would send meat balls and stuffed peppers over to him, knowing how outstanding and delicious he said they were.  
     She will always have a special place in my heart and memory.  No one can begin to fully capture the beauty of this woman.  I will miss her  ...
