Daniel Eugene Woods

Dan is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy (Jody) Woods, and their daughter Kimberly Bober, as well as his daughter Wendy Rodenbaugh from a previous marriage. He is survived by six grandchildren, Wesley Harrison, Rebecca Harrison, Jhourdan Bober Woods, Jhillian Bober, Jayce Bober, Braiden Bober, three great grandchildren, and his sister Lelia Woods.

Dan attended Sonora High School in Sonora, Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky State University in Richmond, Kentucky.

Dan enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1963 from Kentucky. He served in the Vietnam War, and retired from Norton Air Force Base, San Bernardino, CA after 20 years of service in 1983. Dan then began his second career with the United States Postal Service in Santa Ana, CA. He retired from the Postal Service in the year 2000.

Dan lived to be 76 years old and will be forever missed by his wife, children, and grandchildren. Dan's love for his family, strength of character, and kind spirit will live on forever in our hearts.

A graveside service for Daniel will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA 92518.
