I knew Danny in high school. He was my first love & I couldn't wait until Friday nights to watch him play center for Bloomington H.S. football team. #51 He was also my brother's friend as a Junior and when he paid attention to me (then a freshman) I was thrilled. We dated for about a year and I remember Danny working at the corner gas station to earn money for my birthday gift. We obviously lost touch and I didn't know Danny later in life. But I wanted you to know he was generous and loving, funny and kind when I knew him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences for your loss!
