For a full year in the early 2000s I had the privilege of serving with this lovely lady on the Riverside County Grand Jury.  What a pleasant time!   Carolyn was always dedicated to our important work, full of fun, and always willing to help.  I fondly remember her smart car.  The world will miss her.

I first met Carolyn when we were working at General Dynamics in Pomona CA.  Such a beautiful woman with the most gorgeous eyes and smile.  She would walk past my desk in the morning on the way to hers when I worked in her building.  I just knew her name and she would always say good morning.  

Fast forward several years... I started a new job and her son would walk past my desk early in the morning.  I didn’t know or even think that he was her son.  But we started dating and he took me to meet her.  I recognized her right off and we started talking General Dynamics talk.  Mostly where she would go for lunch as there was an amazing Italian restaurant that I would pick up a small salad on the way home sometimes.  She loved that salad too! 

Well a little while later I was so blessed to marry her son.  

She was there for every one of our children’s first days and has always been so kind and loving to me. 
I miss you Carolyn! 

What brings me peace is I know we will all be together again and it will be amazing!!  

I loved all the good she brought into our world.  She held the family together even with her divorce and remarriage to John whom we all love, and we ALL still gathered.  I loved the beautiful crochet blankets she made that swaddled our babies, the fabulous quilts she made that are cherished, countless hours of Family History she gathered, researched and published for us, beautiful jewelry she made, button stories and collections, travel adventures she would share with us, and one she took us on that got us hooked on Hawaii.  I loved her wonderful food she would cook when we gathered together for holidays and how creative she was to help us out to gather and enjoy meals together when she was tired of cooking.  
Carolyn thank you for always accepting me and the crazy things we did that you didn’t so much like, but never complained about, like moving across the continent.  

I know you are loving your 

Carolyn ,  you were the very best mother in law to me. 🤍.   I always looked up to you & hope I can follow your footsteps.    Thank you for being the most wonderful grandma to our children.    We all miss you soo much.     We love you with all our hearts forever 🤍❤️

Grandma,
You will forever be remembered and your legacy will carry on. So thankful to have had the time we did with you while you were on earth and can’t wait to see you again in Heaven. I know your precious doggies were anxiously awaiting your arrival as well as all your friends and family already there. Thank you for being a great Grandma, we will miss you so much and you will be in our thoughts and hearts forever. Until we meet again Grandma ❤️
