Peggy Ann Westbrook was called to be with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2020 following a brief illness of Covid. She has joined her middle son and the rest of the family in the heavens above.
Born as Peggy Ann Smith on March 31st, 1931 and raised in West Point, Mississippi, Peggy moved to Jackson in her 20’s and mothered three loving children. Throughout her years, she was described as a loving woman who was always caring and thinking of others. She touched many lives during her time on this earth while serving as the Co-Chairman of the Carnival Ball, Mississippi Arts Festival, and past President of the Jackson Junior League.
She is survived by her two sons (Alton “Skipper” Westbrook III of New Orleans and John Westbrook of San Antonio), a grandson (Nicolas Westbrook of Dallas), and a brother (Tom “Butch” Smith of Madison). Her life will be celebrated by a graveside service on November 16th, 2020 at 11:00 am at Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
