Peggy Prisk Gates of Jackson, Mississippi died peacefully at her home from stomach cancer on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the age of 82. She was surrounded by her family and her beloved cat Skeeter.
She was preceded in death by her former spouse, Jesse Lamar Gates, Jr.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Noel Prisk; and her brother, Jerry Prisk. She is survived by her children Jason Gates and Ashley Gates of Jackson, Mississippi; and her sister, Betty Prisk Maloney of Madison, Mississippi.
A visitation will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
