Katherine Virginia Irwin Harrell, 89, of Ridgeland, MS, passed away in Jackson on April 19, 2017.
Katherine was born in Yazoo County in 1927 to Erma and Velma Irwin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Guy Clarke Harrell, Sr. and her brother Vernon “Dick” Irwin. She is survived by her brother, James Irwin, her son, Guy Harrell Jr., her daughter Virginia Harrell, her granddaughter Wendy Purvis, and her great grandson Samuel Hopkins.
Funeral services will be held at Parkway Funeral Home at 1161 Highland Colony Parkway, in Ridgeland at 1 pm on Friday April 21, 2017. Visitation is from 12 noon to 1pm. A graveside service will be held at Goshen Cemetery in Carthage at 3:30 pm.
