Chelsea was born in Flowood, MS, on November 21, 1984, to Bert and Karen Lewis. She graduated from Madison Central High School. She went on to graduate from the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s School of Health Related Professions with a bachelor’s degree and a certificate in radiologic technology.
Chelsea had one child, Nolen Scott Kelly, who was the light of her world. She worked as a radiology technologist and loved helping and caring for patients. She always had a giving and generous spirit, wanting to comfort and help all who came in contact with her. She loved and lived for her family, especially her son Nolen. Coloring with him, counting with him, teaching him the alphabet - these moments made her glow with pride and joy. She loved to laugh with him, and she shined her brightest when she was caring for him.
Chelsea is survived by her husband, Matt Kelly, and their son Nolen, of Winona, MS, and her stepdaughter Natalie Kelly, of Winona, MS, her parents Bert and Karen Lewis of Madison, MS, her brother Hal Lewis and his son Gavin, of Ridgeland, MS, her brother Bo Lewis of Madison, MS, her nephew Jude Lewis, of Madison, MS, and her paternal grandmother Ann Lewis, of Jackson, TN. She was predeceased by her sister Brianna Lewis, her maternal grandparents Bob and Bettye Goodson, and her paternal grandfather Newt Lewis.
Funeral services will be held at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS, on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation for Chelsea will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the same location.

Romans 14: 7-9 We do not live to ourselves, and we do not die to ourselves. If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, so that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.
