William Macy Hudson Jr.

William Macy Hudson Jr., passed away on September 8, 2017. William was born in Richmond, VA on March 19, 1936 to the late William Macy Hudson, Sr., and Margaret Ann Callahan Hudson. Mr. Hudson retired from Creative Screen Print and Salisbury Country Club after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church and was an active gardener who loved everything that grew. Macy is preceded in death by his son in law Rick Bega, and his two brothers Woodrow and Bill Hudson. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 31 ½ years, Joan Hall Hudson. Three step daughters, Pamela Hudson Conyers (David), Diane Lea Hudson, and Rebecca H. Bega; two grandsons, Matt and Neal Conyers. Siblings, Allen Hudson, Ann Notch and Annis Hatcher, and several nieces and nephews. Along with his two dear friends, Gary Lambert and William Jones. The family will welcome guest on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 11 am with a memorial service to follow at 12pm at Mount Hermon Baptist Church, 18100 Genito Rd., Moseley, VA, with a reception to follow. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial contribution in his honor to the Mount Hermon Baptist Church Memorial Association or the American Cancer Society.
