Vincent G. Robinson

Vincent G. Robinson, 87, of Highland Springs, VA, departed this life on April 1, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years Jeane Robinson and son, Michael Robinson. He is survived by his daughters, Lin Ailstock (Rick) and Vickie Hogan (Al); his devoted friend of 30 years, Gisela Hannaman; grandchildren, Cris Robinson (Melissa), Heather Weber, Jennifer, Jeanie, and Kimberly Ailstock, as well as five great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served in WWII. He was a devoted alumnus of the Randolph-Macon community where he continued to be active throughout his life. He spent his career in real estate and helped develop several subdivisions in the Richmond area. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at 22 N. Holly Avenue, Highland Springs, VA 23075. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Yellow Jacket Club, Randloph-Macon College, Ashland, VA or Highland Springs United Methodist Church, Highland Springs, VA.
