Sylvia Clary Davis, 83, of Charles City went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
She was reunited with her husband of 63 years, Budgie F. Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Sallie Clary; and siblings, Marcella, Calvia, Doma, Paris, Mary Ann and Edwin.
Sylvia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was the best secret keeper, enjoyed motocross with her family and making sure she kept everyone full. Sylvia went to Sandston Baptist Church until she moved to Charles City.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Edwin M. Davis (Theresa); grandchildren, Sarah Fleming (Corey), Jeremy Davis (Marisa), Cheyenne Davis (Camron) and Isha Davis; great-grandchildren, Grayson, Emerson, Dawson, Owen, Raelynn, Rylee and Chasely; and two close friends, Joan and Doris.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 12-2 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, Virginia 23150.
