Dyer, Sherri Marie, 38, of Quinton, passed away on July 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, J. Russell and Norma I. Drapeau of Springfield, MA and Albert and Therese LaRoche of Chicopee, MA. Sherri received her Associate’s Degree from Blue Ridge Community College, and worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Animal Eye Care of Richmond. She loved animals, the beach, had a creative flair for arts and crafts, and she was a great mother and friend. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Devan Scott and Dustin Matthew Dyer; her parents, James A. and Denise L. Drapeau; brother, Scott Drapeau and his wife, Susan; niece, Elise Drapeau; nephew, Brandon Drapeau; great uncle and great aunt, Paul and Yvette Samson; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Sunday, July 27 at 11:00 am, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond, VA 23231. Interment will take place at Washington Memorial Park.
