Ruth Norwood Coleman is standing in the presence of her Lord and Savior beginning on August 2, 2018. She was born on April 1, 1927 to James Andrew Norwood and Mary Lonie Proctor Norwood. She was one of 11 children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Coleman; and son, William Bath. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Scott Richardson (Mary); daughter-in-law, Shirley Bath; granddaughters, Sherry Alston, Jena Bath and Angie Justiniano (Ruben); great-grandchildren, Ashley (Mike), Amanda (Austin), Sean, Alex, Kamren, William, and Elijah; special family members, Velma Goodwin, Keith Montgomery and Linwood Parrish; and a host of family and friends. She loved the Lord, spent time in prayer, enjoyed putting puzzles together and spending time with family and friends. Thank you to all the staff at Symphony Manor for their care, kindness and love.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. The family will receive friends at Woody Funeral Home Parham on Monday, August 6, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 12 noon on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Interment will follow.
