Rita Applewhite Pennell

Rita Applewhite Pennell, age 91, of Richmond, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Rita was born in Highland Springs, Virginia on January 23, 1931 to the late, Andrew and Audrey Applewhite.

She is survived and loved very much by her daughter, Donna Pennell; son, Dave Pennell; grandson, Brandon Pennell; sister, Dot Johenning; and her loving friends at Monument Heights Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Pennell.
