He was awaited with open arms by his Wife, Gloria Dean Grosch, Brother, William ”Bubba” Grosch, Mother and Father, Frances Vickers Grosch and William Grosch.
He proudly served in the US Navy and was owner of Laserserv Inc.
Rick was a beloved Father, Husband and Friend. He always had a smile for everyone and could start a conversation with anyone he met. He had a big heart that shined through his smile and personality (even when sometimes mischievous). His easy going spirit was infectious.
He loved to fish and golf. Even on bad days with no fish and possible broken clubs, he would still smile and loved spending time with family and friends. He loved the beach and sand between his toes.
His later years in life brought mobility issues, and golfing and fishing turned to binge watching Cowboy movies and Alien series. If anything, Rick’s interests were well rounded. He loved to garden, take in the sunshine and spend time with his dog, and having (sometimes stealing) sweet snacks.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Grosch (wife Ronda Grosch), daughter Christina Ternes (husband Shannon Ternes), Grandsons Derek Grosch, Dylan Grosch, Dean Grosch, William Ternes, Mason Ternes.
He will be greatly missed by all. His family and friends are grateful for every day they shared with him and the love he brought to all.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 23, at 3 p.m. at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston.
