Richard "Creasey" Grover Griffith, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Grover Griffith, Sr.; mother, Gracie Talley; two sons, Charles Griffith and Richard Grover Griffith III; and four siblings.

Richard retired from Philip Morris as a pipefitter. He was a member of Varina Baptist Church. Richard enjoyed watching western films, especially those with John Wayne.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Linda T. Griffith; children, David Jordan and Angela Jordan; and grandchildren, Brandon Lee, Sarah Watson, Rachel Lloyd, Emily Weston, Laura Jordan, Amanda Carr, Grover Griffith and Nicholas Griffith.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a service will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
