Raymond Carlyle Moore III

Raymond Carlyle III, 67 of Glen Allen Va. passed away on March 2, 2017. Terry was born on December 13, 1949 and preceded in death by his parents Raymond C.. Moore, Jr. and Sallie B. Harris. He is survived by the love of his life and best friend Renee A. Moore, his daughter, Gail, son, Steve, stepdaughters Allison and Kimberly (Marc), grandchildren Carson , Tyler, Jordan and Riley. Also surviving, his stepmother Annette and mother in law, Lois Allen,. Terry is survived by sisters, Sallie (Ricky), Bonnie, Margaret (Mack), Sammie (Don) and brother David (Kathy), uncle Ronnie (Bunny) and a multitude of nephew and nieces.

Terry proudly served his country with two tours in Vietnam from 1967 – 1970 in the United Stated Marine Corps. Terry enjoyed riding his Harley, doing crossword puzzles, vacations with Nay Nay and watching westerns. He always wanted to be a comedian on stage -- the one that left 20 minutes ago! I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.

A visitation of friends and family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229. A graveside service will take place at Greensville Memorial Cemetery in Emporia at 2pm on Sunday, March 4, 2017
