Dr. Phillip E. Rodgerson

RODGERSON, Dr. Phillip Edward, 87, of Richmond passed away Friday, June 10, 2011. Dr. Rodgerson was the first Pastor of Bon Air Baptist Church and was Director of missions at the Virginia Baptist General Board. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bernice Miller Rodgerson; children, Dr. Phyllis Rodgerson Pleasants of Richmond, Dr. Thomas Edward Rodgerson and his wife, Beverly Chancey Rodgerson of Silver Springs, Md.; Ruth Ann Hess and partner, Diane Hoover of Washington, DC; and Richard Koch Rodgerson and his wife, Kathy Rodgerson of Finksburg, Md.; sister, Dorothy Swanson of Virginia Beach,Va; 10 grandchildren; 2 great- grandsons.
