Philippe Bourdereau, age 73 of Sandston, born in Paris, France, passed away at sunrise on Thursday, October 21, 2021. He went peacefully surrounded by his wife and daughters.
Preceded in death by his father, Jacques Bourdereau. He is survived by his mother, Francoise Bourdereau; wife Chantal Bourdereau; brother, Francois Bourdereau; daughters, Nathalie McCaskill and Valerie Anderson. Philippe was married to the love of his life for 48 years.
Philippe was a mechanic by trade, a lover gadgets and electronics, and could fix anything. He had a passion for taking pictures of animals and bird watching. He attended car shows, including showing and racing his Tesla. He had a love for flying airplanes and gliders. He lived in New Orleans for over 25 years and always enjoyed a good crawfish boil. He loved competing in multiple races, including duathlons and ironman events. He lived a full life and will be missed by so many friends and family.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Nelsen Reception Center, 4660 South Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23231 on Saturday, November 6th from 3 to 5 p.m.
