Margaret Ann Richardson

Preceded in Death by: Parents Lora Burkett Vaughn, Clarence Issac Burkett, and siblings Shirley Mercer and Clarence Burkett.

Margaret was a loving mother and grandmother who thrived on family unity. As a retired nurse, she owned and operated a Residential Home Care Facility for 30 years which was renowned in the area. She devoted her life to helping others and serving the Lord. She enjoyed family vacations, cooking and reading. Throughout her many ordeals of illnesses and setbacks, she continued to persevere and make the most out of life.

Margaret is survived by four children:

Phillip Guthrie (Kay)

Pamela Sprouse (Eddie)

Greg Firestone (Sophal)

Mike Firestone (partner Stacy and her daughter Chelsea)

Grandchildren: Malyn Edwards, Scott Firestone, Gregory Firestone, McKenzie Firestone, Savannah Firestone, Casey Mayhew.

Great Grandchildren: Georgia Edwards, Millie Edwards, Everett Edwards

Siblings: Lillian Daniels (Ralph), Helen Adams (Dwight) and Hugh Burkett (Ursula)

and long-time friend and companion John Richardson.

She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral service will be held 12 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2024, at Nelsen Funeral Home with Brother Sweeny officiating and Brother Dunn (closing prayer).

Burial will follow at Washington Memorial Cemetery.

‍Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2024 at the funeral home.
