Linda A. Robinson

She was preceded in death by her parents, George C. and Joyce G. Atherton and her brothers, Dale and G.C. Linda was a 1976 graduate of Hermitage High School.

She worked as an insurance underwriter for All Risks and Markel insurance companies and later in life worked as a preschool teacher for Laurel Hill United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, William “Bill” Robinson, Sr.; son, William “B.J.” Robinson, Jr. and his wife, Vicki; daughter, Sheri Weldon; sister, Virginia Ann Olliff; brother, Woodrow Allen Atherton and his wife, Bonnie; grandsons, Taylor Wade Merica and William Austin Robinson; long time adopted sister, Reba J. Poole; aunts, Alice Brewster and her husband, George, and Ruth S. Johnston; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many very close friends that are considered family.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231 where a service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 12 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
