John Kennedy Palmer

John Kennedy Palmer, 85, of Henrico, Virginia went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents John Gladstone Palmer, Margaret Ragland Palmer and his sister Virginia Dixon. He is survived by his wife Frances Vaughan Palmer, son John D. Palmer (Susan) and daughter Teresa C. Palmer. He is also survived by his loving in-laws Virginia Newcomb, Gracy Campbell, Christine Hudson and Willie Vaughan. He was a 1949 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. He also was a retired employee of the Richmond Fire Bureau where he worked for 42 years and attained the rank of Battalion Chief. The funeral will be private.
