MACK, John Henry. It is with great sadness that the family of John H. Mack Jr. announces his passing on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at the age of 58 years. John was preceded in death by his parents, Blanche and John Mack Sr.; and his sister, Marie Mack. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Robin; and his children, Abdullah Jackson, Michael and Anthony Bell; and his five grandchildren. John will also be fondly remembered by his sisters, Ethel Burton, Maxine Jackson, Peggy Williams, Linda Booker, Stephanie Miller; brother, Harvey Smith; nephew, William Mack; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as friends.

John, "Mack" as we liked to call him, was a chef of over 30 years in Richmond and loved his jobs, co-workers and friends he met along the way. He had pride in every dish he prepared.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 22, 2018, at Woody Funeral Home Parham, from 4 to 8 p.m., and funeral service in memory of John ("Mack") will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 10 a.m., at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229. Repast will be immediately following at Woody Funeral Home.
