John "Jack" Saylor, Sr., 62, of Henrico, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Saylor; sister, Cindy Johnson; and his beloved dog, Chloe.
Jack worked as a painter for the past 44 years. He was an avid hunter and especially enjoyed hunting deer and rabbits. Jack was a member of Eagle's Nest Hunting Club. In his spare time, he also liked to dabble in woodworking and building things.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Catherine H. Saylor; children, Stacy S. Collins, John R. Saylor, Jr. (Kim); grandchildren, Faith, Sierra, Marisa, Logan (his hunting buddy), Olivia "Peanut; siblings, Junior Saylor (Lori), Jerry Saylor (Cathy); Rod Saylor (Kathy), Tom Saylor (Marsha), Jean Stall, Debbie Adams (Don), Barb Bulfone; brother-in-law, Lee Johnson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Jack will be laid to privately in Washington Memorial Park. A public memorial service will be held at a later date. Please either check back regularly or click on the "Receive Notifications" button below to have access to the most up to date information.
