GRADY, Jr., John W., 83, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. He was a former manager and operator of grocery stores. Mr. Grady was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nancy M. Grady; daughters, Jill Bergeron (Jay), Yvonne G. Matthias, and Judy Harris; and grandchildren, Jason Bergeron, Jessica Whitlock (Chris), Joseph Matthias, and Stephen Matthias. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue Richmond, Va 23231, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel on Saturday, December 21. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
