Uncle James will be sorely missed! I have many fond memories of Uncle James at Grandmother's house on Christmas and Sundays, when he often visited. Growing up in the 60's & 70's my brother and I loss our mother, we went to live with our Grandmother. We did not have money available to buy toys and presents. Uncle James always brought us lots of Christmas presents and was very kind and thoughtful. 
  Through the years, I often lost touch with him but he was never forgotten for all the nice things he did for me and my brother when we were growing up. He was an outstanding example for others to follow.

Dear Mrs. Witt,I am sorry to hear about your husband. I am Mrs. Irvin I was one of the ladys that sat with you in the waiting room with you and Mrs. Headly. My husband was the first one to have valve replacement surgery. I hope you remember me and you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew Mr. Witt in the early '70's as a young truck driver with the USP&FO for Virginia, Waller Depot, "Commonwealth Express".  I delivered parts and supplies to the OMS in Roanoke, VA.  "Mister Witt" was always there to lend a hand and help you do your job with ease.  He was certainly an inspiration to all those around him. My condolences to the the Witt Family,
